"Here." Lucy handed Samantha a cup of water after she was done helping her settle in her tent. A big blanket was draped around her shoulders, and Samantha smiled a 'thank you' her way before emptying the cup.

"I honestly don't know what to do with you," Lucy uttered after she received the cup, a mix of concern and relief glazing her eyes, "I'm just happy you're not dead! Or else—"

"I am fine." Samantha placed a reassuring hand on Lucy's shoulder. She could see the tears bubbling in Lucy's eyes before she hugged her dear friend. Samantha reciprocated her affection out of surprise, and this would be the first time she's seen Lucy shed some tears for her.

"Look at what you've done now, making me wet my face on a good day!" Complained Lucy as she immediately wiped her tears away, "you owe me big time for putting me through that heart attack, both you and your husband will have to reward me for my patience and positive thoughts while you were gone."
