Bab 80: A Distraction

"Why are you doing this?!!" Samantha, unable to sit back and silently contain the atrocities of his actions, had asked the hunter who appeared more relaxed after revealing his spiteful intentions of wanting to end the head-maid. He simply reclined against the chair, watching her whimsically before considering asking.

"Do you care that much for a lowly vampiress?" 

"She has done nothing to you, your actions can't be justified." Samantha countered back with considerable daring. "You can't kill an army of Humans because one human did you wrong! You're about to take the life of the innocent for someone else's mistake and that is illogical, so bring her back! Feed her the antidote or something!"
