Bab 301: Night Guard Duels (3)

Screaming and shrieking the rotting ghouls groped at the knight with their sickly hands, which had been twisted by dark magic and transformed into claws. But before their diseased claws could touch the knight's armor, his blades moved like the wind, chopping off their arms in the blink of an eye.

As more and more ghouls rushed at the knight, clambering over the bodies of their fallen brethren, he crossed his arms in front of his chest and suddenly spread them apart, unleashing a fiery burst that set the ghouls ablaze.

Dozens after dozens of ghouls were burned to a pulp in an instant as the flames spread out from where the knight was standing and engulfed half the platform.

 Only the Skeletal Warriors survived the onslaught due to their limited flame resistance. But even as the bony minions pounced on the knight, he remained unfazed. 

"Crush and Foil!" the knight bellowed in his hoarse voice and clenched his right hand into a fist.
