Bab 258: Knights and Ravens (1)

The Goblin Shamans were the only magic users in the Goblin army, but their spells and incantations weren't focused on destruction. Their magic usually bolstered their troops or helped to chip away at the enemy's defenses. 

The Elder Lich, however, was a skilled magic user whose destructive spells could easily rival those used by low-level wizards and mages. 

Renace was counting on his number advantage to crush his foes. He had over a hundred Goblin Warriors at his disposal and over a dozen Shamans. And even though the three Berserkers had been slain, he still had the Goblin King under his command.

On Renace's order, the Goblin Shamans raised their staves in the air and cast a dark spell that summoned a three-headed wooden totem painted with blood and decorated with Goblin teeth.
