Bab 144: A face in the crowd

The sudden appearance of a majestic bell tower from a different day and age that could stop the flow of time sparked Xander's curiosity. He wanted to know more about the marbled wonder, but its sudden vanishing act left him groping in the dark.

At every step, Xander was discovering something new about the Soulscape, but the mysteries of this shadowy realm remained obscured by uncertainties. Just like the enchanted tree, the bell tower too, seemed to possess tremendous power, but its true purpose remained unknown to Xander.
