Bab 130: Carnival of Memories

The sky donned a new coat of spectral blue hues dappled with patches of bleeding violet. Eerie green lights flickered overhead, mesmerizing the eyes with their enchanting dance. Waves of dazzling green shimmered and shifted, casting a pale glow on the carnival ground.

Xander stood there awestruck by the haunting beauty of the night sky as ripples of green spread into the sea of blue, scattering iridescent flashes amidst the drifting clouds and painting the airy velvet with unnatural hues.

A purple moon, half-eaten by the starving darkness, languished breathlessly amidst an entourage of blinking white stars which flickered in and out of existence like restless fireflies.

Under the watchful gaze of the silent night, dozens of pitched tents and stalls adorned with twinkling fairy lights breathed life into the carnival. The place was abuzz with shouts, giggles, and the endless grinding of cogwheels and rusty levers.
