Bab 74: Night of Blood III

The man and woman were shocked to find that Morpheus had emerged from the explosion without a single scratch. His clothes were only slightly worn; there wasn't a single tear in them. And as for his skin, it was only a little charred with no injuries visible.

It was absolutely impossible for a rank 1 knight to bear the brunt of two grenades and come out unscathed. And it was even more impossible for a wizard of the same rank. That's why the two of them were so shocked.

Suddenly, another possibility appeared in their minds. 'What if… he's rank 2!?'

The thought caused them to panic. After all, the target's rank had never been mentioned; however, through their sources on the streets, it had been confirmed that the target was a rank 1 wizard. But now the two of them were beginning to doubt the credibility of their sources.
