Bab 448: Soul manipulation

The possessed Mage raised his hands, conjuring a Black stone fist around his hand to block the scythe from plunging into him, as he swung his legs towards Oni's crouched area, but he was met with no reaction.

In fact, Oni's masked expression had changed to one of shock.

"Are you expecting me to react to that?, Because I assure you, I am just a creation of magic and I am no human!" Oni said, trying to jest with the wraith.

But the wraith only smiled and placed one of its hands on Oni's chest, summoning a huge crystallised stone hand that rose from the ground and punched him straight in the face.

Oni was flung away, while the wraith got up and spread both hands as black earth spears rose into the air on its command.
