Each member of the group had managed to acquire about five thousand magic crystals from the trade, with even the least productive members, like Pale and the rest of his group, receiving two thousand magic crystals .

Initially, they had not expected Alec to give them anything at all since they all believed that whatever they obtained during their time in the Abyss belonged to Alec's team.

Because despite going through so much together, there had never been an agreement that Alec would share the loot with them, However, he had still chosen to do so, even foregoing his own share of the loot.

Alec had specifically asked for magic crystals instead of his usual form of payment,( power stones).
