Bab 353: 06.1 Honest self

With my hand on his head, the faint movement of his breathing gave me a weird sense of relief. I know, he can't die, both of us can't be more aware of that fact. Still, knowing there is a heart still keeping his soul alive, I want to thank the Gods.

It was a little too calming, I fell asleep for a while in quite an awkward position for my neck. When I woke up, the nerves leading down to my spine had all decided to cause me problems in just looking around freely. But I could look to my right without any pain. That's all I needed.

He looks even smaller somehow, so much, I couldn't even tell he was looking straight at me at the first glance. I caressed the back of his head a little more firmly. "Are you okay?" I don't even know what aspect I am asking of really, I just want him to speak. Talk his heart out to me.
