Bab 97: 022 Inferiority Complex

7th of February, the Duke of Orville's birthday.

Since it was now rumoured outside that the Duke and the King had fallen out, so many of the nobles, on various excuses, didn't turn up in person, instead, they sent their butlers with gifts.

The Duke didn't care, he only invited a few friends and set up a banquet within the manor, and invited some dancers and actors to cheer him up.

Early in the morning, the nobles sent congratulatory gifts piled up in the whole antechamber, sent those things Orville did not even look at a glance, and told Lionel to accept all of them, and made a good gift list.

Lionel read the list half way through, Enoch suddenly came into the hall, saluted Orville to show his respect, and opened his mouth to say "Happy Birthday Duke."

Enoch had returned in the middle of last month, having been wounded in Adlerberg's domain, and the Duke had immediately found a replacement for him, who was now fully recovered.
