Bab 81: Chapter Eighty Two_ Our Plan Was Abortive.

Valerie's POV

I closed my eyes as Christine drove down the path leading to the ancient home. To be frank I prayed and wished that he would change his mind about our visit but it was all a mere wish because this morning when I woke up Christine was done packing our stuff.

We agreed to take our luggage to the office with us and then drive directly to the ancient home after work hours. I appreciated the fact that Christine gave me a few less stressful tasks to do. Most of the time, I was at my desk.

"Are you feeling unwell today? You're acting so fatigued." He remarked while driving.

Well, that's because the only thing I can envision is episode two of your mom's madness which I ain't ready for because I haven't had the time to memorize my lines.
