"I want you," Elliana whispered, her voice more like a serpent's hiss, and Sebastian raised his gaze at her.

Her ever-changing emotions sometimes confuse him. Wasn't she sad just a couple of seconds ago?

He didn't want his beast to think that their wife finds solace in their love and lovemaking, because he would get used to it, and it would literally go out of control. Why? Because they would want it all the time like they had started to feel before crowning too.

She kissed him like this was their first kiss like it was their last kiss before the world was ending, and Sebastian immediately forgot all the reasoning he was thinking of stopping her.
