Azrael sat on her ankles, looking at her mother with a soft smile.

"This look, this look is the same that I received 20 years ago too. Nothing has changed. For you, I was an abomination that day too, and I would remain a curse for the rest of your life, no?" Azrael sighed.

"Jokes apart, can you tell me the reason you hated me all along? I mean, I never complained that you gave the two kingdoms to your two daughters, and I was left with nothing. Then what exactly was the reason you hated me?" Azrael asked.
