"Who are you? And what the hell are you doing here? How did you get in? Guards! Guar -me," Madeline's eyes widened when he placed his hand over her mouth.

"Sshh, aren't you being a bit too loud? At least not about myself, think about yourself. You will hurt your throat like this. I will answer all your questions, but first, let's settle on one thing. You won't scream," The guy said, and Madeline looked at him shocked.

"Mmmh!" She patted his hand furiously.

"Oops, I forgot. How would you speak with my hand over your mouth, no? So? You won't scream anymore, right? Look, I am not here to hurt you. If I wanted to do it, I would've done it long ago. If I can come here, I can kill you as easily and drink your sweet blood -" The guy paused and looked into Madeline's eyes.

"You must've figured out that I am a vampire, right?" The guy asked, his gaze a bit psychotic.
