Nero said the last sentence very softly. He smiled slightly.

Nero knew right away how Shin broke away from his trap. The King’s ring was a special item that could store five items, skills, or magic inside. The owner could bring them out at any time. Some skills and magic could be imprinted in the ring permanently and only needed money or MP to call them.

This man must have stored a high-level magic breaking potion of the alchemists and used it on the trap.

“I don’t think I have to explain anymore?” Shin said.

“...You guys are real monsters.” Nero smiled awkwardly. He could not even move an inch. He did not expect that the last blow would get him this much.

“Any last words?” Shin asked.

“T… Then, tell me why didn’t you do it sooner?”

That question got the crusader smiling.
