Bab 16: Don't listen to fiction
"Sure, why not? But make sure to run away if you sense something dangerous."
'Anyway, almost nothing in this little world can hurt him with his cultivation.' Celine thought inwardly, but didn't want to tell him so as not to make him become arrogant. She nevertheless decided to follow him just to keep an eye on him in case he got lost.
*woof* *woof*
Enzo heard the sound of the little wolf cub running to him and signaling that it wanted to accompany him.
"Mom, I will take him with me."
"Sure, whatever you want."
"Have we named him yet?"
"We haven't named him yet, we will leave that for you."
"I'm gonna name him---" before Enzo could continue, his mother quickly stopped him.
"I forgot to tell you one important thing, the wolf is a female not a male."
"Why didn't you tell me that sooner, I was about to name her with a guy's name. *sight* Forget it, I should have asked you about it, so you're not totally at failed. Then I will name her Stoli."
The wolf cub, now named Stoli, wagged her tail in excitement showing that she likes her new name.
"That's a good name, a unique and weird one, but a good name."
"Okay, goodbye mom."
"Goodbye dear. Don't be late, come back before sunset." Celine waved at Enzo.
"Okay"
Arriving at the forest, the first place Enzo went to, was where he met Stoli's pack.
"Huh? Where have they gone? Wasn't I here a few days ago and gave Stoli's mother food?" Enzo found it weird. He looked at the little creature that was on his shoulder and tried to question it, but he didn't get anything out of it. Stoli just gave him an innocent look as if not knowing what he meant whenever he asked her anything.
Enzo then looked around and found the place perfect to test his newly found powers. He thought that they moved deeper into the forest for some reason and he didn't care what it was, so he didn't think further.
'Let's try to sit and do as the cultivators did in those manga and novels I read back on earth'
Enzo sat in a lotus position and closed his eyes to concentrate on the inside of his body to see if he could feel anything.
Sure enough, he felt something. He felt a warm and soothing energy moving around his body aimlessly. He found it weird, very weird; his parents had told him that the Qi he absorbs should be located in a sphere-like thing inside his body, but he found none, nothing at all seemed like what his parents had described. He started to worry that he did something wrong which didn't allow his core to form.
'Okay, okay, let's calm down and think properly. I can't find a core inside my body, but I have a weird energy moving around in my body, so if I can take that energy and try to condense while shaping it into a sphere, I might solve this problem.'
What Enzo didn't know was that he was searching in the wrong place, the core is inside his body, but at the same time isn't. One couldn't describe exactly where it was. His parents had decided to teach him how to sense it once they start teaching him cultivation methods.
'Firstly, I will try and condense it in my mind, I feel that there's something very vast there. I will try to probe inside my mind like those cultivators I read about, they had a full world inside their minds.'
Enzo sent his sense into his mind and he found himself in a vast place that was empty, it was devoid of anything. He could still feel everything, but there was nothing around him.
'This seems like a good place to try and condense my core. I will start by making the Vacuus move into here.'
Enzo made the Vacuus energy in his body to move to where he was. He made it so that it will be continuously poured into his mind.
'Now that I don't have to keep moving it here I can start condensing it.'
He started by taking a little bit of Vacuus and tried to press it inside his hand seemingly condescending it. It
firstly transformed in a liquid state and then a solid state, but after becoming a solid something weird happened.
"Wait what's happening, why is all the Vacuus energy condescending at the same time, I was just experimenting on a little bit. I didn't intend for all this to happen. What am I gonna do? I don't feel that this is doing any harm to me, but what if it condenses all the energy in my body? Will I become a normal person again? System."
Feeling helpless Enzo turned to ask the system. Unlike other times when the system sounded only in his mind, this time it was everywhere around him.
[Host, what's happening is normal, but not for your current cultivation base. It was supposed to naturally happen once you reach a higher cultivation level,that will allow you to control the Vacuus better, but what you did just now automatically triggered it and now it won't stop and will continue to condense in your mind until you reach a higher cultivation level or are able to control the Vacuus well enough to stop it.]
'F*ck' Enzo could only curse inwardly, why did he try to do something without even knowing anything about cultivation? Why did he do as he read in stories that were clearly not real in his previous world.
'Will it harm me?' Enzo asked worriedly.
