It's not bad but needs a bit of work on certain areas foremost being dialogue. The conversations in this novel are too boring and fake sounding. Needs more life. Also, could use some worldbuilding. I read all the free chapters (40ish) and the MC was home most of the time. Only other places revealed are the church and the forest; he hasn't been anywhere else.
