Bab 1167: Ghost

Axel quietly stepped into the elevator, going down. The moment the door shut closed, his expression was nothing but pure horror. His meeting with Florence was longer than he expected, but he also found out a thing or two about her reasons. 

'She is… Hera's auntie,' he recalled, his jaw tightening. 'And she wants Hera dead because if not… the four families will use her to take her down.'

Axel slowly balled his hands into a tight fist. Although Florence spared him the complicated details of the Five Secret Families, what was clear to him was that this wasn't good for anyone. They wanted Hera, dead or alive. 

Axel heard his own gulp ring in his ear, recalling more of his discussion with the Madam. After all, Axel had to be thorough if he wanted Florence to see him as her ally.
