"Why would I want to be number 2, when I should be number 1?"
Ram and Wolf guessed it right. When they heard that the first time, they couldn't help but wince. After all, if there was a number Hera loathed was that number two.
"That is your concern with everything I said?" Ulysses was in disbelief. "Hera, I can repeat everything I said if there's something that isn't clear… to you."
He trailed off as Hera retracted her feet from the table, facing him squarely. "You, listen here," she crooked a finger as she continued, "I don't need you to repeat that long novel you got for us to not understand what you're trying to do."
"You are telling me that I had to join your little cult if I want to survive?" Hera snorted. "And who gave you this idea?"
"You don't understand," Ulysses frowned. "You'll end up depleting all your resources, but the Oxley Family would barely have a dent. We're doing this for you —"
