Finally, after engaging in a few more exchanges, Sasuke decisively employed the technique 'Kirin' for the first time. It's intriguing to note that this particular move by Sasuke drew inspiration from Jiryoku's devastating 'Lightning Thunder Dragon' technique. Jiryoku utilized this formidable maneuver as a final gambit to divert the attention of the Konoha ninjas before departing, leaving a wake of destruction in his path. Notably, Jiryoku first unleashed this powerful technique during his initial assault on Konoha as a pivotal part of his vengeful scheme.
Kirin descended upon Itachi, yet despite the formidable force behind the technique, Itachi exhibited remarkable prowess in defense, effortlessly shielding himself using the formidable 'Susanoo' technique.
"You'll have to put in more effort if you wish to stand a chance against me," remarked Itachi calmly, though his eyes betrayed the strain of overuse, bleeding persistently due to the relentless activation of the 'Mangekyo Sharingan'.
Finally, Sasuke found himself overwhelmed as he lost control over his cursed seal. From its confines emerged a colossal serpent, its jaws revealing the unmistakable form of Orochimaru within. Sasuke, drained of chakra, struggled futilely to suppress Orochimaru's influence, lacking the necessary energy to contain the rogue ninja.
Orochimaru unleashed his mightiest form, known as the 'Eight Branches Technique', transforming into a massive serpent with eight heads and tails. This formidable manifestation of Orochimaru's power wreaked havoc as it effortlessly tore through the Uchiha Hideout, leaving destruction in its wake.
"It seems Orochimaru has survived," Jiraiya remarked, his expression grave with the realization.
"Indeed, Sasuke's possession of the cursed seal makes Orochimaru's continued existence less surprising," Kakashi concurred.
Jiraiya nodded, acknowledging Kakashi's point. "True. Orochimaru had placed a curse seal on Sasuke as well, and it appears Sasuke is struggling to suppress its influence."
"Now, it appears imperative that we intervene in this battle; otherwise, there is a significant risk of Sasuke falling under Orochimaru's possession, leading to Orochimaru's resurrection—an outcome none of us wish to witness," Kakashi asserted.
Jiraiya, with a solemn expression, shook his head and responded, "At present, we will refrain from taking action; our stance shall be that of mere observation. Let us be vigilant. Your friend appears poised to strike the moment we make even the slightest advance."
Naruto and Sakura found themselves becoming more and more uneasy as they absorbed the weight of Kakashi and Jiraiya's words. The prospect of Naruto impulsively charging into the battlefield loomed large, a scenario they desperately sought to avoid. Kakashi's firm grasp prevented such a hasty action, sparing them from the unnecessary confrontation with Obito, which was certainly ill-timed given the circumstances.
In the midst of the observers' anticipation, all eyes were on Itachi, waiting with bated breath to witness his reaction to Orochimaru's impending attack. With deliberate poise, Itachi reached for his legendary 'Sword of Totsuka', adding an air of solemnity to the already tense atmosphere.
Orochimaru moved with remarkable speed, darting towards Itachi's 'Susanoo' with a velocity that seemed almost supernatural. However, despite his swift approach, Itachi effortlessly severed one of Orochimaru's heads, leaving a total of seven still intact. Undeterred by this setback, Orochimaru pressed on, unleashing a relentless barrage of attacks from various angles, using the remaining heads to assail Itachi's 'Susanoo' from all sides. The 'Sword of Totsuka' wielded by Itachi cleaved through Orochimaru's head with an almost casual ease, akin to a knife slicing through softened butter. In the end, only one head remained of the colossal serpent, a solitary remnant of its former might. It was from this lone remaining head that Orochimaru finally emerged, his determination undiminished despite the odds stacked against him.
Upon Orochimaru's sudden appearance, he jubilantly declared, "At last, I have succeeded in seizing control of Uchiha Sasuke's body." However, his triumphant moment was short-lived as Itachi's formidable 'Sword of Totsuka' promptly impaled Orochimaru's form. Despite just being resurrected, Orochimaru brimmed with joy and zeal, his confidence evident on his face, his trademark smile unwavering. "Itachi," he sneered, "do you truly believe that an attack of this magnitude could possibly harm me? Your naivety astounds me."
Before Orochimaru could even react, a sudden sensation gripped his body, drawing him inexorably towards a mysterious gourd.
"What!? So it was with you all along," Orochimaru exclaimed, his eyes fixed on the 'Sword of Totsuka' held within Itachi's Susanoo. It was only as he felt the precise effects of the 'Sword of Totsuka' that Orochimaru began to comprehend its true power.
With a look of unwillingness, Orochimaru was sealed by Itachi for eternity within the gourd. However, a small snake broke off from Orochimaru's large form and managed to escape. Nonetheless, the towering version of Orochimaru, comparable in size to tail beasts, had vanished entirely. Moreover, Orochimaru had lost his combat abilities and was forced to flee in the form of that small snake.
