With deliberate care, Laura withdrew her fangs from Ethan's neck, crimson droplets clinging to the tips before gravity urged them to fall, marking his skin. Her mouth eased away, leaving behind a triumphant curve on her lips, savoring the taste of her meal.

Ethan's gaze locked onto hers the instant she disengaged, a mixture of calmness and fascination swimming within his eyes. He slowly unburdened his back from the rough embrace of the tree, his muscles flexing as he shifted.

Their gazes held firm, unspoken words dancing in the air as he touched his neck "Had your fill?" Ethan's voice emerged, a soft question tethered with a hint of breathlessness.

Laura employed her thumb to meticulously cleanse the lingering droplets of blood that adorned her lips, her actions almost methodical as she maintained eye contact. 

Her reply carried a playful rasp. "Oh? Do you desire more?" She purred, a flicker of challenge underlying her words.
