Bab 208: Stand your ground!

The village reverberated with the shrill cries of terrified residents, a dissonant chorus that filled the air as people stampeded from their homes, seeking refuge from the relentless chaos. 

Amidst the tumult, lizard men, savage and unforgiving, pursued their prey with ruthless abandon, leaving a wake of devastation in their wake.

In a desperate bid to shield the defenseless, the knights fought valiantly, their resolve unwavering even as their numbers dwindled against the overwhelming might of the lizard men. Though they displayed remarkable skill in fending off the onslaught, their capacity to safeguard those around them faltered.

As the calamity unfurled, the unfortunate villagers met their demise one after another, their attempts at escape proving futile against the swift and merciless wrath of their pursuers.
