Bab 157: Here for you

Jack stared at his phone staring at the news in disbelief; he had only planned to threaten Mia with it, but someone else had carried it out. He threw the phone on the floor breaking the silence that filled the room.

Silver stood on the safe side in the apartment. He had been successful in his quest, but there was no way to get into the apartment and the Mrs. wasn't making any move to come out of the apartment.  He was lost as to what to do and had come back to report to his boss.

Without saying a word, Jack ran upstairs and banged the door behind him.  He ran to his closet, pulling out clothes until he saw the very thing he was searching for; a burner phone he had kept aside for this purpose.  He picked it up and dialed Beth's number.

Immediately she picked up, he fired her with his questions.  "Was this your plan, Beth? Was this how you plan to put our relationship together?"
