Bab 88: Girl Problem

The elevator doors opened and Auntie Bai walked out, clutching a bag of groceries to her chest. She spotted Li Na in the living room, talking on her phone. 

Li Na felt someone's eyes on her and glanced over at Auntie Bai, who had just emerged from the elevator with a bag of fresh produce. She gave her a brief nod, while Auntie Bai returned a friendly nod and a smile.

Li Na said on the phone, "Ning Yu, I have to go now. I will talk to you later, OK?" Ning Yu replied "OK, sure. But before you go, don't forget to text me later."

Li Na smiled and said, "All right, then. I will text you later." She pressed the end button and put her phone in her pocket. She got up from the couch and headed to the kitchen, where Auntie Bai was arranging the groceries."

Li Na stood beside Auntie Bai, wanting to lend a hand in arranging the newly bought groceries. But Auntie Bai gently stopped her with a warm smile and said, "Just go sit down, Miss Li. That won't be necessary."
