"Sorry," Annalise apologised for hurting him. Just like she didn't mean to bite her lip, she didn't mean to hurt him with her nails.

It was only thanks to Rafael bringing it up that she realised what she had done to his back, now knowing it had to be full of marks from her nails. Annalise sat up, wanting to see if she had caused him to bleed. 

"Turn around for me to see," Annalise said, briefly looking at her fingernails to check if there was any blood. One of her nails looked as though she had something under it. "I'm sorry," she apologised once more, worried about the state of his back. 

Rafael kept still, not interested in turning around to show his back when he had finished entering her again. "You have terrible timing, Annalise. We can check my back later when we are not busy. The marks do not hurt."
