TAKING THEM TO THE ROOM
The night had deepened, and the moon hung in the sky, casting its silvery light upon the garden. Alan, feeling the weight of the wine in his head, lifted his gaze toward the celestial sphere and remarked to Ben, "My head is feeling so heavy."
Ben, inquisitive and equally inebriated, asked, "What's causing it?"
Alan, his vision slightly askew, replied with a whimsical grin, "Look at my head; the moon is standing on top of it."
Ben peered at Alan's head and chuckled, "The moon isn't standing on your head, you moron."
Alan, adamant in his intoxication, insisted, "But I can see the moon standing on my head."
With a grin, Ben quipped, "The moon must be sitting on your head; that's why it feels heavy. My head, on the other hand, feels light. I think the air is entering my brain, making it lighter."
Alan nodded in agreement, saying, "Yes, I can see it. I can see the wisp of smoke evaporating out of your ears."
