The silence persisted for an unknown minute until, that figure said,

"You know when my mother named me Asher... She said it held meaning called blessing... as if I was a blessing to her..."

"..." Eli blankly stared at that thing, the weight of his past etched into the lines of his expression.

The reddish-black figure continued, "Not knowing I was just a curse that place--"
