The next day, Zhou Chao slept until ten past noon, still feeling groggy as he got out of bed.

Just as he emerged from the bedroom, he heard clattering noises downstairs. Zhou Chao frowned slightly, leaning over the railing to see a shadowy figure moving in the kitchen.

"Is Ling Chen here again?" He muttered to himself, then headed downstairs.

Just as Zhou Chao was curious about who it could be, he saw Lin Wu emerge from the kitchen wearing an apron, holding a knife.

"Hey, boss, you're up. I hope I didn't disturb your rest!" Lin Wu said somewhat sheepishly, knowing he had been making a bit of noise in the kitchen.
