After three rounds of drinks and a variety of dishes, it took a full two hours to finish lunch.
What started as a simple meal unexpectedly turned into a lively drinking session when, halfway through, Chen Nan suddenly remembered the white wine he brought from China. Mentioning it casually sparked the interest of Lev and the others. Seeing this, Zhou Chao didn't intervene. After all, the weather by Lake Baikal was quite cold, and a bit of alcohol would warm them up nicely.
As they drank, Lev and the others became increasingly enthusiastic, pulling Lin Wu, Chen Nan, and a few others into a drinking competition. Fortunately, there was plenty of white wine, so no one's spirits were dampened.
Even Zhou Chao couldn't escape being dragged into the drinking spree by Lev. However, to Lev's surprise, Zhou Chao held his liquor exceptionally well. By the end, Lev felt dizzy and light-headed, but Zhou Chao showed no signs of being drunk.
