Bab 453: Dare to Be the First

"Knock, knock, knock!"

Hearing incessant knocking on his bedroom door, Zhou Chao, who had been roused from sleep, groggily exclaimed, "Who is it? Why are you knocking on the door so early in the morning?"

"Boss, it's me, Lin Wu!"

Upon recognizing Lin Wu's voice, Zhou Chao's morning grumpiness subsided a bit. He sat up in bed and asked, "What's the matter?"

"Boss, didn't you say we have a company meeting this afternoon? It's almost one o'clock now!" Lin Wu's voice outside the door sounded somewhat subdued.

Zhou Chao quickly grabbed his phone and checked the time. "Damn it, how did I sleep until now?"

"I understand," Zhou Chao replied to the voice outside and got out of bed. Still feeling a bit dazed, he made his way to the bathroom.

Zhou Chao had stayed up studying late into the night, and he couldn't recall when he had gone to bed. However, one thing was certain: it was now morning.
