Inside the Royal Palace, the pained moans of a woman could be heard resounding through the halls as she went into labor.
The woman had deep black hair with the occasional strands of blue and bright blue eyes that seem to shine like moonlight against the surface of the sea.
She screamed and wailed as the Midwives assisted her through the painful process of giving birth.
She clutched the bedsheets tightly and gritted her teeth as the Midwives gently pulled the Baby inside her.
"Aaahhh...~!" She released a pained yet relieved moan as the Baby was pushed out of her, into the living world.
"It's a Boy, Your Highness!" One of the Midwives announced as another held the crying infant.
"...Huff... Uh... Whe... Where?" She asked for her newborn.
"Yes, Yes... Here, Your Highness, the little Boy..." The Midwife holding the Baby said as she handed the young Prince into his Mother's embrace.
Karlaena silently held the Baby as he suckled on her tit, drinking the first meal of his life.
"...Sc-Schlain! Schlain Zagan Analeit!" She weakly announced the Baby's name.
Unfortunately for her, the first words she said to her son would also be her last as she shortly died after the Prince's birth.
Throughout the whole process, the King was not present, nor would he be there to see the death of his third Concubine, Karlaena Zagan Analeit.
~[Schlain Zagan Analeit]~
~=A few hours after the previous scene=~
'I, who was just an average highschooler, got reincarnated'
Those were the words he kept to himself as realized the current situation.
Yamada Shunsuke, this was his name... At least, it WAS his name.
Now he had another name, bestowed by his second Mother, Schlain Zagan Analeit. A little too fancy for his taste, but it clearly fits his new identity...
Shunsuke had been reincarnated as a Royal Prince.
He had managed to gather this much from some simple deduction. A little after his Mother died, a man who was clearly his second Father came in to check out his brand-new son.
That Guy had a menacing yet regal aura, combined with the fact that everyone was looking at him like some sort of Demigod, he could deduce that his Father was some kind of King... Or maybe an Emperor.
He also wore a Crown on his head, so uh yeah... There's that.
'...'
'Damn, there really was nothing to do as a Baby' Shun thought as he went to dreamland.
There was nothing to do, so might as well sleep, right?
~=9 Months Later=~
There are apparently 10 Months in this world's calendar, each comprised of 41 days with a total of 411 days...
Yeah, so getting used to that fact was a bit difficult since he was so used to the common Earth calendar.
And yeah, there's an extra day in the calendar, though that day was called the New Day which started the next year and didn't belong to any month.
That was today.
Today celebrated the start of the year 842, which meant he was only a few dozen off days from his first birthday...
Oh, and he also had a little Sister now... Her name is Suelecia Mirei Analeit, but he'll just call her Sue since that's more convenient.
She was born only about three months after Shun, though from a different mother, the REAL Queen of Analeit.
Polygamy seemed to be the typical norm when it came to the Ruling Class of this world, though Shun knew enough of history to know that it also used to be the norm back on Earth.
Since it had been about 9 (New World) months since his birth, he should be able to get away with talking, so tried to do so about a week ago (which was still 7 days for some reason).
His caretakers were elated when it happened and promptly announced him to be a genius... Though from his expressions, Shun deduced that it was probably average.
But he was the Prince, so having the image of a genius was essential for survival.
His Sister practically had stars dancing in her eyes when he first talked, the infant looked at her older Brother like he just slew a Dragon! Seriously...
Speaking of Dragons, it seemed they actually existed here. His older Brother, Julius was apparently some kind of Warhero, which disturbed Shun a little since he was still a pre-teen, and actually had armor made from the scales of one!
Well... It was apparently the scales of some really powerful Wyrm (Wonder who that could be), but that was the same thing!
Dragons, for Godsake!
He had reincarnated into a Fantasy World of Swords and Magic, he had realized this fact when he encountered the System.
Yes, this world was very much like those isekai animes with a game-like System.
He had first encountered the thing way back when it suddenly appeared in front of him.
He was just dying for something to happen, seriously... being a Baby, even a Princeling Baby, was boring AF!
But it looks like that desire for something to happen manifested itself in the System when it suddenly announced the acquisition of the Appraisal Skill!
At first this Skill did nothing but give him a migraine, but he figured out that this was because of its low-level!
He just spammed it on himself continuously until the Skill leveled up from showing him [Baby, Schlain Zagan Analeit] to [Human Infant, Schlain Zagan Analeit]!
Not a massive difference, but he knew such things always started small.
He then Apprased random words like "Level" "Attribute" "Stat" which provided him with little more than absolutely nothing.
But when he Appraised "Skill Point", he was suddenly bombarded with a System panel.
Through which he discovered that whomever had sent him here must have been a kind God!
『Remaining Skill Points: 99,900.』
The System must have bought Appraisal, so that meant he had actually started with 100,000 Skill Points!!!
He then spent 900 more on Appraisal, maxing it out to level 10.
Yeah, he knew people would call it a waste... But he was rich, damn it!
Might as well, right?
"Your Highness... It is a nice view isn't it?" My Caretaker asked.
"Yeah!" He responded like how a kid my age would.
He had just been looking out of the window admiring the view... At least that was what the servants thought he was doing, don't want them thinking he was insane, now would we?
"Mama! I Hungy!" I cutely demanded.
"Pftt... There, there... I'll get you some food and oh! I'm not your Mother, Your Highness~" The Caretaker responded.
And with that my day as the 4th Prince of Analeit continued.
