Bab 5: chapter 5

As we entered the temple, I could feel a chill run down my spine. The atmosphere was thick with an eerie, otherworldly energy that made me feel as if I was walking through a dream.

Suddenly, a shape appeared before us. It was transparent, with glowing red eyes that seemed to bore into my soul. I realized with a start that we were looking at an actual ghost. I was so startled that I froze on the spot, unable to move.

The ghost floated towards us, its movements jerky and unnatural. Jaden stepped forward, his hand instinctively reaching for his Pokeballs, but I could tell he was hesitant to attack a creature that wasn't a Pokemon. As the ghost drew closer, I could see that its form was twisted and distorted, as if it had suffered some terrible injury. It let out a mournful wail, sending shivers down my spine. I slowly stepped forward, trying not to make any sudden movements. The ghostly figure didn't seem to react, so he took another step.

Suddenly, the ghost vanished, leaving behind a strange feeling of unease. I looked around, trying to see if the ghost had moved elsewhere, but it was nowhere to be found. " Let's keep moving," I said, trying to shake off the feeling of dread that still lingered. "We can't let a little scare like that stop us." As they continued deeper into the temple, they came across more strange and eerie sights. They saw twisted and contorted shadows that seemed to move of their own accord, and heard whispers that seemed to come from nowhere. But I kept my focus on the mission at hand, and the group pressed on. Finally, they came across a room that seemed to be the heart of the temple. In the center of the room stood a pedestal, with strange markings etched into its surface. "Finally it took long enough," I said, approaching the pedestal. "The key to unlocking the secrets of this temple probably ."

As he reached out to touch the pedestal, a figure appeared before them. It was a creature unlike any they had seen before, with a serpentine body and a head that looked like a dragon's. has a sleek, dark body with a long, pointed tail. It has two pairs of wings, with the upper ones being larger and more pointed, and the lower ones being smaller and rounded. Its body is covered in small, light-blue scales, and its large, yellow eyes are set in a stern expression. Its front legs are small and have sharp, pointed claws, while its hind legs are more muscular and powerful. The drakloak floats their most likely expecting are visit. I reach for my pokeball but it disappeared. As the Drakloak floated towards us, it spoke in perfect human speech, "Greetings, trainers. I've been expecting your visit. Before you ask, I must apologize for taking your Pokeballs. I did so to ensure that we could have a conversation without any distractions or interruptions."

I was taken aback by the Drakloak's ability to speak like a human, but I gathered my thoughts and replied, "What do you want from us?" The Drakloak responded, "I brought you here because I need your help. You may not know but I know your future, your past and your present. There is a great danger that threatens the balance of the world, and I cannot face it alone. But before I explain further, I must ask that you promise to keep everything I tell you a secret. Can I trust you?" " Before we go forward I must warn you two after these words come out of my mouth and all said and done you both will die in the worst way possible as when the prophecy is fulfilled do you still know this accept the terms".

"Yes" me and Ethan said at the same time we stare at each other and chuckle because no way the ghost could be serious. It's just a big prank. Drakloak hovers there for a moment, seemingly contemplating my request. "I can tell you this," it finally responds, "I am not an enemy. My intention is not to harm you or anyone else you are friend's with."

I nod, feeling reassured by its words. "Okay, that's good to know. But why did you take our Pokeballs?" Drakloak lets out a sigh, as if it is about to divulge a secret. "I have been watching you all for some time now, and I have reason to believe that you may be the ones destined to save the world from great danger. But to do so, you must first prove yourselves worthy." I furrow my brow in confusion. "What do you mean, 'prove ourselves worthy'? And what danger are you talking about?" Drakloak hesitates, seemingly weighing the pros and cons of sharing this information. "There is an evil force at work, one that threatens the very fabric of our world. It seeks to control everything, and it will stop at nothing to achieve its goal. But there is a prophecy, one that speaks of a group of heroes who will rise up against this darkness and save us all. You may be those heroes, but first, you must pass a test."

"A test?" I piped up, looking just as confused as I feel. "What kind of test?" Drakloak doesn't answer immediately, instead gliding around us in a circle. "It will not be easy," it finally says, "I can not tell you the test yet only time can tell'. "But i can tell you this the prophecy goes as When the last one dies, When the day comes that trees shed their leaves, When the moment comes that the sky is colored brightly, When air turns to dust, two enemies Will fight for the rest of time till one gives up to the other, The first will be cursed to live again always haunted with friends and families always dying when he needs them the most in his darkest time. Cursed to be alone for the rest of time". "It's up to the last to stop this fate". I exchange a look with Ethan, feeling a sense of apprehension building inside me. Despite my excitement at the prospect of fulfilling the prophecy and saving the 'world', I can't shake the feeling that there's something not quite right about this situation. Drakloak, sensing my unease, floats over to me and speaks in a low voice.

"Don't worry, young one. You have been chosen for a great purpose, and I will be by your side every step of the way. Together, we will bring the power of the ampoule to the world and usher in a new era of peace and prosperity." His words are reassuring, but I can't help but wonder what kind of challenges we will face on this journey. Will we be able to overcome the forces that seek to stop us from fulfilling the prophecy? And what sacrifices will we have to make along the way? As if reading my thoughts, Ethan places a reassuring hand on my shoulder. "We'll figure it out together," he says, determination in his eyes. I nod, feeling a renewed sense of determination. With Drakloak help, we have a fighting chance to bring about a better future for the world If Drakloak's words are to be believed .

As we walked out of the temple, Ethan spoke up. "Do you really think this prophecy is real?" he asked. "I don't know," I replied honestly. "But after what we've seen today, I'm starting to believe that anything is possible." I nodded in agreement. "And if there's a chance that this ampoule can help the world, then we have to do everything we can to find it and fulfill the prophecy." Drakloak floated silently beside us, as if deep in thought. "I just hope we're ready for whatever we might face," I said, looking around at my friends. "We'll need to be strong and work together." Ethan grinned. "Don't worry, we've got each other's backs." I nodded. "And with Drakloak's help, we have a powerful ally on our side."

1 Day Later

I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled in my stomach. I turned to Ethan, "Ethan, I don't know if we should trust Drakloak. Something about him feels off."

Ethan nodded in agreement, "I know what you mean. But we don't have any other leads on how to fulfill this so-called prophecy. Maybe Drakloak can help us."

I spoke up, "I trust your instincts, but we should at least hear him out. Let's ask him more about this cerium and how he plans to use it to help the world."

We caught up to Drakloak, who was hovering a few paces ahead. "Drakloak, we want to hear more about this cerium and how you plan to use it to help the world," i said.

Drakloak turned to face us, "The cerium is a rare and powerful substance that can only be found in certain parts of the world. It has the ability to heal the land and bring balance back to nature. With it, we can stop the destruction that is happening all around us."

I was skeptical, "How do we even know this cerium exists? And how can we trust you to use it for good?"

Drakloak's eyes narrowed, "I understand your doubts. But I have been searching for the ampoule for years, and I have seen the devastation that is happening firsthand. I know that this is the only way to save the world."

We walked in silence for a few moments, each lost in our own thoughts. Finally, Ethan spoke up, "Okay, we'll help you find the cerium. But we're going to keep a close eye on you."

Drakloak nodded, "I understand. And I will do everything in my power to prove to you that I can be trusted."

"If it makes you feel better I will let you capture me to give you extra security incase if you feel I am a danger". With that Drakloak went incorporeal and appeared with a luxury ball and said " I only expect the best so I intend to enjoy my stay". and with that Drakloak handed the luxury ball to me and I placed the ball to its head. The ball snaps open and Drakloak disappears into the ball.

As soon as the Drakloak disappears into the Pokeball, I felt a sense of unease. Ethan turns to me and asks, "Are you sure that was a good idea?"

I shrugged, "I know it might seem odd to catch him sense he's really suspicious. Like who shows up out of nowhere and say your meant to save the world? But like consider the upsides, he's now part of our team, and I'll take good care of him."

Ethan hummed, "I guess You're right. It's the safest way to make sure we have Drakloak's assistance. We'll make sure he's treated well."

I nod reluctantly, still feeling a twinge of worry for capturing Drakloak. But I know we have bigger problems to worry about, and we need all the help we can get.
