**Chapter 31: Spiritual Instructor Qi Ling**
In the girls' dormitory of Shrek Academy, Ning Rongrong lay on her bed, crying into her pillow.
After a while, she abruptly lifted her head and shouted, "Hey! What are you doing here?!"
Across the room, Qi Ling sat with his eyes closed and replied casually, "Practicing. Why not?"
Ning Rongrong was infuriated. According to the usual script, Qi Ling should have come to comfort her, not to practice.
"Ugh! If you want to practice, go do it somewhere else. I don't want to see anyone right now!" Ning Rongrong yelled.
"Hey, you shouldn't speak like that," Qi Ling said. "What's got you so upset? Is there something wrong with what Flender said?"
"I'm just furious with you!" Ning Rongrong shouted. "Where did you guys come from? Why is everyone so strong?"
"I don't know. Maybe it's fate. You, as the daughter of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School, came here too. Who would have expected that?" Qi Ling said.
"Hmph! It's not so easy to make me leave!" Ning Rongrong declared. "I want to prove that I, Ning Rongrong, am not worse than any of you! I'm better than anyone!"
"Oh, it doesn't matter. No matter how strong you are, you can't be stronger than me. After all, I'm just amazing," Qi Ling said nonchalantly.
Although Qi Ling spoke the truth, Ning Rongrong saw it as arrogance. She pouted and said, "Hmph! Shameless!"
"Hey, I might have a good temper, but if you keep insulting me, I'll get angry too! And when I'm angry, it's scary!" Qi Ling warned.
"Scary? I'm the daughter of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School! We have two Titled Douluos in the sect. We're powerful and have alliances with many sects and even the royal family."

"That's right! I won't leave until I've trampled all of you underfoot!" Ning Rongrong said defiantly. To emphasize her determination, she added, "I will do what I say!"
"Hahaha, okay, I'll be waiting for the day you can do that!" Qi Ling smiled. "Since you've made up your mind, my task here is complete!"
"Let's hurry to the Great Soul Arena in Soto City. Maybe we can still catch the late-night fights."
"Hmph! I'm not going! I'm not going to make a fool of myself now!" Ning Rongrong said. "If you want to go, go by yourself. I'll stay at the academy!"
Qi Ling sighed. Ning Rongrong's stubbornness would take time to change, so he went to the Great Soul Arena alone.
As he arrived, Qi Ling saw Dai Mubai storming out of the arena, visibly enraged.
"Mubai, why are you coming out? What about the others?" Qi Ling asked.
"I don't know!" Dai Mubai snapped, clearly in a foul mood. Without pausing, he continued walking away.
Confused, Qi Ling went inside and soon encountered Xiao Wu and Tang San, with Zhu Zhuqing being carried on Tang San's back, looking seriously injured.
"Xiao Wu, Tang San, what happened? How did Zhu Zhuqing get hurt so badly?" Qi Ling asked in surprise.
"Brother Qi! You're here!" Xiao Wu said. "Zhu Zhuqing was injured in the match. Teacher Flender has gone to get a doctor. We need to take her back first!"
"What about Dai Mubai? Why did he leave early?" Qi Ling asked.
Mentioning Dai Mubai caused Xiao Wu's anger to flare. "Don't mention that scumbag! I really hate him!"
Xiao Wu explained that after Zhu Zhuqing was injured, Dai Mubai tried to help but was rejected coldly by Zhu Zhuqing. Feeling humiliated, Dai Mubai left after exchanging harsh words with Zhu Zhuqing, leaving Tang San and Xiao Wu to assist her.
Qi Ling, sensing something was off, worried about Ning Rongrong meeting Dai Mubai in his current state. Given their volatile personalities, a confrontation seemed inevitable.
Hastening back to Shrek Academy with Tang San and Xiao Wu, Qi Ling arrived just in time to hear a heated argument between Ning Rongrong and Dai Mubai. Dai Mubai, now possessed by his White Tiger spirit, looked furious.
"Ning Rongrong, don't think you can be my punching bag just because you're angry! Zhu Zhuqing made the right choice by rejecting you. You're not worthy!" Dai Mubai roared.
"What did you say? Don't provoke me, Dai Mubai! If you're angry, don't use me to vent your frustration. Zhu Zhuqing made the right choice because you're not worth it!" Ning Rongrong shot back.
"What did you say? Ning Rongrong, don't push me! This isn't your home. Others might be afraid of you, but I'm not. Be careful, or I might hurt you!" Dai Mubai's eyes were bloodshot with rage.
"Hmph, I'm terrified. Come on then, if you have the guts!" Ning Rongrong sneered. "But given your young age and your daily visits to brothels, you must be quite used to this sort of thing."
