The information he just gained from Osita can help get him better prepared for what's coming in the near future and he most certainly can now stand proudly in front of his cousins the other demigod when he shares the news with them.

Ikem now knows one thing, the enemy is weakened and will be trying their best to get back to their full strength before taking action, and from Osita's case they can still be prevented from doing that if found out early.

The only issue now being that the enemy can't be killed or taken care of, so we have to tread carefully on how we approach and apprehend them. Ikem has to make sure that the other demigod understood that unless all he did today was for nothing.
