"My world crashed on that day… I'm not strong enough to hold back my rage and I don't want to ruin the mating period for anyone," the Lycan king said honestly as he looked everywhere but at his son. 

"What if I come to the ceremony with you?" Tamiko asked his worried father. He understood King Zaffuto. He knew how hard it had to be for the man, not knowing where his son was. 

He knew that it wasn't going to be easy, but Tamiko hoped that he would give the king some reprieve. Sure, he wanted to tell the king that he already knew he was the prince. A shoulder to lean on was all he had for his father and the son hoped that he would take it.

"I can't do that to you, little Hinata," the king said to his son, staring earnestly at the best reminder of his beautiful Liana. He loved his son way too much. He wanted to pull him close and tell the kid that he was the father, but the king couldn't.
