Bab 53: Cornered

CHAPTER 53

Raphael thought it was all over until the video revealed the moment when Damien showed up, looking somewhat possessive and, well, not the brightest. 

He couldn't resist another facepalm.

"Seriously?!"

Instead of enduring the escalating tension between the two men following Skai's departure, he wisely decided to halt the recording and retrieve the flash drive.

'Now I know why Skai is avoiding that scumbag.' 

He barely uttered those words when he forced shut his eyes, wincing as a throbbing pain rang through his head. 

After some seconds, Raphael reopened his eyes, his gaze darkening. 

'Behave Damien.' Raphael scolded, but only ended up angering the latter. 

A gentle transformation took place as a misty haze gracefully enveloped Raphael while his hands trembled. He moved his head to the side, turning the back of his hands to check.
