Bab 69: Oakwood

The Solusian warriors gathered in the Oakwoodian fields, organized in neat squares as they were drilled by their commanders. Their brand-new weapons gleamed in the weak morning sunshine. It was noticeable how their armaments changed compared to their previous battle as the supply corps provisioned them with more muskets. Due to this, several pikemen had to switch arms, which a few commanders found alarming, yet the general remained silent to their pleas.

In truth, Ricardo found the switch fascinating as the new weapons captivated him more and more. He had never seen skilled arms men fall so easily in his life, making him curious of how the firearms would change battles forever.
