The guard with the whip froze when he heard my voice. And not only that, but the chants around us ceased. All the guards turned to face me, stunned when their eyes landed on me.
Mr Kim slowly turned his head to look at me. Scared blue eyes locked with mine. He looked like the shell of the man I met back in Dark Moon — broken beyond recognition.
"You are not supposed to be here, Omega," one of the guards said to me, as the other one raised his whip to continue from where he stopped, having concluded that my orders didn't matter.
"And where am I supposed to be in, pray to tell?" I narrowed my eyes at him, challenging him with that mad glint in them. "Let him go," I instructed.
"This was an order from the prince."
"Which one?"
"Prince Storm," he said, looking as if he expected me to take to my heels at the sound of the man I'm living with.
