I kept my attention on the other side of the window, pissed that he called an end to the conversation I was having with Ray.

After my words earlier at the river, it seemed like Ray changed, not snapping at me any more, and telling me tales about life in his small village.

He's similar to the Ray I knew, and it made me wonder if Storm will return to how he was back at Dark Moon.

But I doubt it will be as instantaneous as Ray's.

Riding in a carriage is one of the experiences I never thought I will have when I was still back on Earth. Who would have known that I will be able to experience a life of fantasy and romance?

"Do you want tea?" He asked, breaking the silence between us.

I turned, gave him a look and shook my head.

"Why? Aren't you thirsty?"

"What do you care? I'm nothing but a slave to you." I folded my arms and scrunched my nose.
