Bab 42: An unexpected confession

I stared at Fan for help, but he shrugged, letting me know I'm on my own. He sat in the air and crossed his right leg over his left with his arms folded as he watched us.

Sky gazed at me, "what were you doing out here? Aren't you supposed to be in class?"

"Well, I was on my way to class before..... I remembered I had to take a book from my room, so I returned to take it." I forced a smile, not ready to tell Sky that I was running from the principal. "Why are you here?"

He tugged on his left ear before he glanced down at his feet as if they housed all the interest in the entire world.

"I don't know. I just heard this insisting voice that said I had to find you, so I did." He blushed, "there's… There's something I need… I need to ask… No, tell you."

"What is… Wait, before I forget. What did you do to Ray?"
