He interrupted her words and quickly changed the topic.

This reminded Leigh of the day he infiltrated the enemy base. Many innocent prisoners were killed because of her hasty decision. Indulged in her bitter memories, her attention got withdraw from the man whose sharp eyes kept staring her without any rest.
