Bab 157: Dance of death the God (3)

The group stood in tense silence as Matsya kept her spear trained on Eren. His eyes had gone cold, and a dark aura surrounded him, pulsing with an ominous energy. 

Selena's brow furrowed with concern as she looked to Matsya. "What's happening to him?" she asked, her voice tinged with worry.

Matsya returned Selena's gaze for a brief moment before shaking her head, though they weren't particularly close, the gravity of the situation compelled her to speak up. 

"I'm not sure, but he's not himself right now. We have to be careful." Her grip tightened on her spear, ready to defend against Eren's unpredictable actions.

Right then, suddenly, without warning, Eren lunged forward, his movements a blur that the others could barely track. Cuban barely had time to react before Eren was upon him, swinging his sword with lightning-fast strikes. The blade moved with such speed and precision that it was all Cuban could do to block the relentless assault.
