"You mean he had another mate, before rejecting all three of you?" At this rate, it was starting to sound how ridiculously biased the moon goddess was to Davien.

There were a good number of shifters who never even met their fated mate once in their lifetime, yet Davien was picking them up left, right and centre.

"Well, yes, but you didn't hear it from me. The last thing I'd want is to get on Davien's bad side."

"His bad side? I thought he told you about Lyra?"

She rolled her tongue around her mouth, "Well no, actually all this is what he said while he was drunk. I would've never known if he didn't get wasted that night."

Davien? Drunk?

It wasn't like it was impossible, but so far I had known him he didn't strike me as the type of guy who couldn't hold his liquor.

Womanizer? Yes. Careless drinker? No, not in the slightest.
