Valerie's P. O. V

I woke up with a splitting headache and a numbness in my toes, while trying to get out of bed my weak knees gave way right in front of the door, throwing me right at the person about to come inside.

It was the redhair who worked for Mr Keith, I believe his name was Jonas?

"Careful, you almost broke this plate." He remarked, while setting a tray of breakfast by the nightstand.

I rested a finger to the side of my head, "Where am I?"

He stirred the tea in the white teacup and unequivocally crooned, "Seers and your poor retention span." He picked up the cup and shuffled over to me, "How many rich men do you know?" He stated not necessarily asking.

Despite the bitching headache I looked around the room, noticing the expensive yet simple decor. And just like he suggested I truly didn't know enough rich men, or rather enough who would want to house me.
