For a while, Eve considered the idea of teleporting to the other side of the door. Then, slowly, a smirk appeared on her lips. Ronald wanted something on the other side of this door, and she—she was going to ruin his chance at that!

Eve pressed against the wall, and soon enough, the ground beneath them began to shake. For some reason, the banging from the other side of the door suddenly ceased. Eve smiled and observed the knight's panicked appearance.

The shaking under their feet intensified, but Eve quickly realized that something was off. The magic she used shouldn't create this much disturbance; it was just a small trick to scare them off.

Then, she heard it—the ground trembling sound, as if...

Eve's brain froze when she realized it was another beast tide!

"What is— "

"Sire! There are beasts outside!" a knight immediately reported.

Eve watched as Soren's face turned ugly. "Go outside and fight!"

"Sire!"
