"These rings have…" Lord Aelius looked at Eve, his eyes wide. "Magic?"

"Enchantment. To protect them from wear and tear," Eve said. "It is the least that His Highness can do."

"This is— Thank you, Madam!" Baron Mortimer's eyes started to tear up as he clutched the ring as if his life belonged in it. "This is from our ancestors… I… We never thought that we would find it again. I — I cannot thank you enough."

"There is no need to be emotional. His Highness simply thought that those objects belonged to your prestigious clans and thus… it is only right that you have them back," Eve smiled.

When she 'saved' all those treasures from the Hunchback, she noticed a lot of small trinkets, both rare and common.

What really caught her attention was the number of important heirloom jewels that the Hunchback stole!
