"In that case, I'd rather test my magic once it's fortified," Eve countered. She could sense the potent magic coursing through her veins. It was potent, pure, and overpowering. She genuinely feared that the orb, barely twice the size of her palm, might not withstand the intensity of her magic and end up shattered.

"Stop fussing about it, it's just a simple test," Henrik brushed off Eve's hesitation with a chuckle, his eyes dancing with anticipation. "Unless, of course, you're worried that your magical prowess isn't up to snuff?"
