"Leave..." Penelope spoke with a firm yet somewhat troubled tone. "Please do not intervene anymore. I will call for you when I need you."

The man's face displayed a mix of emotions—concern, hesitation, and a tinge of sadness. Without uttering another word, he transformed back into an elegant eagle and gracefully soared into the sky, disappearing from sight.

Eve observed the interaction between Penelope and the shapeshifter with intrigue. Her mind buzzed with questions, desperately trying to unravel the mystery.
