Evelynn raised an incredulous eyebrow upon hearing Lucius's claims. "So, you claim to possess knowledge of a list that could aid us in creating synthetic blood?" she questioned, her voice laced with skepticism.

Lucius shrugged nonchalantly. "I have heard whispers and murmurs, tales of such a list. However, my abilities as a vampire restrict me from acquiring it directly," he explained, taking a seat across from her and resting his chin on his palm. His gaze wandered to the book she was engrossed in. "Our kind, fast and strong though we may be, are limited when it comes to certain mystical forces at play. This world was not designed with vampires in mind."

Evelynn absorbed his words, her attention still fixed on her book. "And where, pray tell, can we find this elusive list you speak of?" she inquired, her tone tinged with both curiosity and frustration.
